His Word

"Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path." 

Through God's word we gain more understanding and wisdom.  As we meditate on God's word and keep it in our heart, God speaks to us we can't just read God's word alone. We need to allow it to sink deep down into our hearts  and allow God to work in us and have hearts that are open, willing and (a broken heart and contrite spirit is what I require) BROKEN because he is the potter and we are the clay that need to be shaped and molded.  This is where God can really make a difference and bring the changes that need to take place in us. When I first came to the Lord I learned how important memorizing scripture is, I used to memorize one verse everyday ,as life went on and babies came in to the picture I stopped, you know satan and his lies~Im to busy ~I have no time ~Just reading in the morning and at night is enough! but its not enough I've learned that as I grow in my walk with Christ I need the word more and more not less MORE

1 Cor 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.


I love this verse what a wonderful verse I mean Promise to hold on too right especially today in the world there are so many people struggling with trials and temptations looking for a way out but can't seem to find a way to escape from it all and even worse don't even believe there is a way out of this darkness, what ever that might be, what a sad and lonely place to be right.
But praise God for his faithful word that tells us that he will provide a way for us yeah, yes sometimes it takes a long time for him to show us, he does it in his own timing not ours but that's when we trust in him and WAIT! Waiting on God is hard but it totally strengthens our faith and shapes and molds us in to the men and weman he wants us to be, I don't know about you but I can't stand to wait lol sad right but I know that my Heavenly Fathers way is perfect and I want to be in his will So if you are someone you know are struggling are in that dark place remember God has not forgotten you/us trust in him and his timing remember that he has a plan that's way better then ours.
Enjoy your life seeking his face living for him and his purpose! Amen

Wreath!

So when my lil kiddos went to sleep I made a simple very easy wearth just using my old ornaments, hot glue and a plain wreath, that's it there are so Many wreath ideas out there! Speacially during this Time They are all over pinterst! In so many different styles beautiful Christmas colors so here is mine

Cutting Our Christmas Tree

I hope you all had a wonderful blessed Thanksgiving there is so very much to be Thankful for Right? God is so good, these past few days have been pretty busy but in a fun way we picked and cut down our first Christmas tree lol we walked around for maybe an hour before I finally settled with one lol I usally put afake tree up and I have all they ornaments matching and make it perfect but this year with the kids getting older we let them pick out the lights and put what ever ornaments they want lol Ill be posting pics of that this week also here are a few pictures

we all so went to the town lighting it was so beautiful cold beautiful we took hot chocolate with marshmallows yummy Thank you Jesus

He is with me

" where can I go from your Spirit? where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. As I meditated on the scripture God is so faithful to remove any fear worry or selfishness or any thing of the flesh that is not of him during this season and he replaces it with His peace:). He continues to remind me to trust in him and that he is there for my wherever and what ever am am going through He reminds me that I live for him, during this holiday season and that me and my family are not of this world I want my kids to praise the Lord not just think of all the yummy food or presents or the crafts and decor we do to the house, yes I want them to have fun but Most importantly I want them to always know that it's about Him and Him alone and I will be truthful with you all even I get sucked in to it a little, Praise God for my husband who reminds me not to gets sucked in to the VANITY! All around us, All this for a mom can be pretty crazy even stressful at time I dont know anout you? But I am so greatful That I have Gods word to confert and feel me up with his wisdom through this time He my strength and my everything my Rock and for that I am so greatful the most :)

My prayer :
Heavenly father I pray that I glorify you during this holiday season that I don't get sucked in to the way the world celebrates them but the the way you want me to celebrated them and that's praising You teaching my children that it's all about You Lord and not about them selves or the stuff around them, continues to shape and mold me to be the mommy that is all about you Lord and never ever about me in anyway I praise you for your work in my life Thank you for always being with me teaching me and loving me  Amen.

Thankful Thursday

Wow so much to be praising God for but today I got just one I want to share on
Thankful that tomorrow I'll be celebrating my 5 year anniversary, So blessed to be married to him the mother to his kids and serving God with him I love you babe! Your the best!
My heart is full of Joy, praise and contentment I couldn't ask for anything else in my life Im doing what I love to do with my life serving God with the man Iv been Crazy about since the day Iv met him and being a momma the most important job in the world  for that I am so thankful

Matthew 19:6 So they are no longer two but one. Therefore what God has joined together let man not separate!

Apple butter

INGREDIENTS
2lbs of good cooking apples (we live right by Apple Farms) Blessing
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cups water
Sugar I used 1/2 a cup
brown suger 1/2 a cup
Salt 1/2 teaspoon
1 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon allspice
Grated rind and juice of 1/2 of 1 lemon


now this is just what I used alot of the recipes called for alot!! more suger
and other stuff but this is just how we make ours, super easy and my kids love it on toast

Peel, core, and cut up the apples. Combine with the water and cook until the apples are soft.
Add sugar, salt, spices, and if using, the juice and zest from a lemon. totally optional
Continue to cook over low heat, stirring frequently to prevent sticking until the mixture is very thick. (Test by scooping up a heaping spoonful. The mixture should keep its rounded shape and not flatten out.)

Six miles in two days!

Im totally praising God right now we've found a wonderful running trail it is amazing and so beautiful with Gods creation all around us and complete silence worshiping the Lord and praying for his strength, talking to my son as he asks all the questons in world like why God made this or that and why why why LOL I love this time with my kiddos. Its so much harder to run outside on the road then inside my house lo  but I love it! I pray that my childern will love to be active always and in order to do that I am there example! I pray God will contiue to be my strenght. Here are a few pictures of both days

My Son

Wow when I think  of word that can describe Tommy I think Imagination, bright, Curious, busy, Great humor, sweet, kindness and so many more I adore his heart  and the huge personality he has. it turned  out that the most wonderful things to discover were already inside of him as he grows those wonderful qualities develope even more right with him with himand im so blessed to be apart of this adventure with him to stay home with him and just focus on him (both of them) its so important.   As a young new mother holding this sweet little boy in my arms I wonderd what he was gonna be like I learned really fast that he was going to be full of energy, strong minded, VERY curious and all  hands on always He is a great little explorer filled with sence of wonder
As a new mom I wondered what he was gonna look like and still do, but I learned fast that he was totally beautiful inside and out and ha s a little of me and his daddy in him
the most important thing I wondered as a new little mommy with not a clue! was and still is and will continue to always be is how is the Lord going to use this precious baby boy it this world!!! its what I wonder all the time.
as a young mommy I of coursed wonderd  AM I GONNA BE GOOD AT THIS ! lol
Sure there were and still are growing pains for the both of us in all areas we learn so much from each other, but the good times, beautiful feelings and awesome memorys are what stand out to night, Happyness and Amazement  2 things that make being a mommy so rewarding
